The Avengers Bowling Club was originally The Challengers Bowling Club which was all male. The Challengers decided to become co-ed and renamed the organization to what we now know as The Avengers Bowling Club. The objectives of this organization include promoting solidarity in the areas of nonprofessional bowling to include tournament participation, good sportsmanship and the discipline necessary for competitive bowling. A secondary goal of this organization provides for integrating with and supporting selected community service projects which both aid the needy and advertise the existence and purpose of The Avengers organization
